Our Walk & Wade trips are ideal for both beginners and experienced anglers. Opt for a half-day to learn essential fly fishing techniques, or a full-day to sharpen advanced skills while exploring more of the scenic Truckee River.
About wade fishing
If you’re new to fly fishing, our half-day walk-and-wade trips provide the perfect introduction, teaching you how to catch river trout using proven gear and techniques. For a more immersive experience, our full day trips include a relaxing riverside lunch, followed by an exploration of a new section of water. You’ll dive deeper into advanced fly fishing tactics, focusing on casting techniques, improved line control, and learning safe methods for fighting, netting, and releasing wild trout. It's a productive and enjoyable way to spend a day on the water!
Whatever your skill level, you’ll have a fun and safe time on the river with us and you’ll leave with new fly-fishing skills that’ll last you a lifetime.
