Fish-n-Stay Camping Package

If you like fishing and camping but not the hassle, this all-inclusive trip is for you. 

We’ll set up your camp near the river or lake and supply everything you’ll need for an epic fly-fishing camp out. All meals prepared for you. Just drive or fly to Truckee or Reno and we’ll do the rest.

About the fishing trip

If you’re new to fly-fishing, our guided trips will get you started on the right path to catching river trout with tried-and-true gear and techniques.
Full-day trips expand into more advanced casting and line control in order to target more fish and cover more water. A full-day trip also allows us more time to discuss deeper fly fishing tactics and practice safe and effective techniques of fighting, netting and releasing wild trout.

Seasoned fly anglers will also benefit from this trip to brush up on skills, or learn modern ways to fly fish such as Euro nymphing.

Whatever your skill level, you’ll have a great time on the river, learn a ton, and enjoy the Northstar condo experience!

About the camping

Trip includes

  • 2 nights camping (river or lake)

  • Transportation from Truckee (Two people max)

  • Camping gear usage (tents, clean sleeping bags, chairs, tables etc.)

  • 1 Full day guided fishing + short fishing options

  • Fly fishing gear (rod, waders, boots, etc.)

  • 6 meals (two dinners, two lunches, two breakfasts)

  • Premium Adventure Fly Co Hat or 40 Fish Bucks for other free gifts

  • High-res photos (examples below)

  • GoPro/drone video (4k-5k)

Price

$1900 / 1-2 anglers (2 nights)

+ $1900 1 to 2 additional anglers (2 nights) *Extra guide required

+ $300 each additional non-angler (2 nights)

Base Price: Covers up to 2 anglers per guide.

Maximum Capacity per Guide: 2 anglers.

Additional Guide Requirement: An additional guide is required once the maximum of 2 anglers per guide is exceeded.

Camping Destination

Generally, we’ll be camping within 45 minutes from the town of Truckee.  

The camping destination is chosen based on preferred water type, time of year, water conditions, group size, weather conditions etc.

This trip was created for you to get the most enjoyment out of a camping/fishing adventure.  We maximize your leisure time at camp by doing all the planning, pre trip prep work, cooking and cleaning.

We make sure you always have snacks and drinks available and a comfy place to sit and sleep.

 On the water, we’ll guide you with the right gear and techniques to ensure you catch fish and have the most fly fishing fun.

You’ll leave the trip with amazing memories, photos and videos, as well as some newfound fly fishing skills that’ll last a lifetime.

*All Adventure Fly Co trips are catch-and-release fishing.
